Click on Start, select Settings, Select Control Panel, Select Internet Options, Select
the Tab, Connections, at the top of the screen, Select theButton, "Setup", at
the top of the screen.

This will bring you up to the Internet Connection Wizard window:

Make sure Connect using my phone line is selected, signified by the black dot in the
circle to the left of it, and click Next.

This will bring you to Internet account connection information. In this window, you
will be prompted to enter the phone number: 896-4800. Make sure you remove the check from
the box in front of "Dial using the area code an country code". 
Click Next.

This will bring you to: Internet account logon information. Here you will be prompted
to enter a username and password. Enter your login name using all lower case. Also,
include your password, which will be masked and appear as x’s or dots. 
Click Next.

This will bring you to: Configuring your computer. Here you will be prompted to enter
a connection name. Leave it as it appears. Click Next.

This will bring you to the window Set up your Internet Mail Account. Select Yes. 
Click Next.

Select the first option “Create a new Internet mail account” (as pictured
below). Note: If no email accounts exist in Outlook Express, The Wizard
skips this screen. 
Click Next.

In the “Display name” text box type the name you want to appear when you
send an email message (as pictured below). 
Click Next.

Enter your full email address in the “E-mail address” text box For
example: johnsmith@maverickbbs.com Click Next.

| 11. |
In the "Incoming mail [POP3, IMAP, or HTTP] server" text box and the
"Outgoing mail [SMTP] server" text box type: mail.maverickbbs.com Click
Next.

Type your email password in the “Password” text box (as pictured below).
Select Remember Password if you like. [Do not select “Log on using Secure Password
Authentication”]. 
Click Next.

Click the “Finish” button to complete the process.  |
